School Events
Our students in the community
Our students regularly visit and support other community groups.
We help to develop our students’ understanding of their role and responsibility as active citizens to contribute to a thriving supportive community.

Whole School Celebrations
At Glenferrie Primary we celebrate many special events as a whole school. These include, Harmony Day, Book Day, Footy Day, Italian Day, Athletics Day, Junior and Senior School Cross Country and The Taste of Glenferrie, Colour Run and the Welcome BBQ at the start of the year.
All students contribute to and attend these whole school events, supported by our dedicated staff and parent community, These days foster community engagement and strengthen our relationships within and outside the school.

Camps
Each year, our Year 3 to 6 students attend a school camp.
These camps are aligned to support the Victorian curriculum, and provide an opportunity for students to develop independence, cement bonds with their peers, and often challenge them to try and experience new things.
Last year, our year 5/6s visited to Canberra and were welcomed by our local member Monique Ryan in their visit to Parliament House.
