Performing Arts

All students at Glenferrie Primary School will attend a weekly one hour Performing Arts lesson in Semester 2 with Mr Addison. Students will have the opportunity to perform plays, sing, use instruments and discover what it means to become a performer. In Semester one all Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 students will have a 30 minute singing session each week with Mr Addison.

 Every two years our year 5 and 6 students write, direct and perform their own performance. This event is hosted at Kew High School’s Renaissance Theatre. Glenferrie Primary School also holds an annual end of year concert featuring all classes performing.

Music

Instrumental music tuition is offered at the school from external music providers with a variety of instruments offered. Parents pay for these lessons. Please contact the office for more information.
