Glenferrie Primary School welcomes new enrolments into our community, and we want our new Preps, and their families, to feel confident and prepared ahead of the new school year.​

In order to support our new families, Glenferrie Primary School hosts a Parent Information Session in November. This is an opportunity for parents to talk with teachers and school leadership about the Prep transition process, find out important information and ask any questions they may have.

Additionally, the school runs three Transition Days for students enrolled for Prep in the following year. These days are an opportunity for new students to get a taste of school, meet the teachers, become familiar with their classrooms, and make some new friends ahead of the school year. The transition sessions run from 9.10am to 10.30am in November and December.

Note: Parents need to be aware that Prep students do not come to school on Wednesdays during February in Term 1.
